How reliable is it?

Evaluate Internet sources for reliability, bias, limitations, etc. just as you would print or electronic publications.

Consider the following as you consult a website:

Authorship/Authority
Accuracy
Currency
Coverage
Objectivity
Publishing Body

Three web sites that speak to these points in more detail:

- Evaluating Web Pages ( Duke University Libraries)

- Evaluating Information Found on the Internet (Elizabeth E. Kirk, Johns Hopkins University)

- Evaluating Web Pages: Techniques to Apply and Questions to Ask (UC Berkeley Library)
