Space Telescope Science Institute
The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) captures many astronomy related talks, meetings, symposia, and conferences using a variety of media (audio only, audio and video, various print products reproduced here in electronic format, etc.). Some recent additions include:
Astro 2010: Astronomy and Astrophysics Decadal Survey (Meeting)
Astrophysics in the Next Decade: JWST and Concurrent Facilities (Meeting)
2009 Spring Symposium - The Search for Life in the Universe (Symposium)
2008 Spring Symposium - A Decade of Dark Energy (Symposium)
Astrophysics 2020: Large Space Missions Beyond the Next Decade (Workshop)
Astrophysics Enabled By the Return to the Moon (Workshop)
The Feynman Messenger Lectures
The Messenger Lectures include seven videos of Dr. Richard Feynman speaking on physics at Cornell University in 1964. The videos are here presented in Microsoft’s Project Tuva (requires browser plugin download), which enhances the videos with closed captions, note-taking capabilities, links to related resources, video navigation functions, and more. The lectures are excellent (each of the seven videos is over 45 minutes, but less than an hour) and Project Tuva is an interesting new tool.
